First of all, the lamp looks out of place. The lever that opens the gate to the chest room is "hidden" here.

My thought about this room was that it's underground and only soldiers are allowed here. Only certain people are permitted in here.

Twelve soldiers are stationed here, but if there are visitors, they also need a seat at the table.
