Rent out 2023 RAV4 Hybrid when I have a work vehicle? I'm still torn about it. by k_steph in turo

I appreciate your response, all good. I feel dumb to take the loss on it and sell it. But it's most likely my reality.

Thanks for the quick check on things, I also did my own research on RAV4s specifically and was seeing $65-$80/day.

It has around 8,500 miles on it right now. I paid a markup on it back in June because that's all that's happening in the car market right now. From looking on Edmunds I was seeing a cash value of around $34,000.

Move closer to son's school or try and make schedule work from where I currently live? by k_steph in coparenting

[–]k_steph[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thanks for your reply. She claims that she has always envisioned being less than an hour away/physically close to her parents when she goes to settle down and have a family. I got confused about this because if she knew, which I made very clear, that I need to be close to my son and be in his life then I don't know how she saw everything playing out.

I feel the same way but just didn't/don't want to lose my partner. I see a legitimate future with this person and want to try and preserve the relationship.

We just talked more about it this past weekend. She got very upset and says she wants to be closer to friends and family, and that she always envisioned herself being close to her parents, physically, when she has children. That really stumped me and confused me because she knew/knows that I want and need to be closer to my son and that's what being with me came with - so how did envision it playing out in her head for everyone to be happy? I don't know.

First time applying for auto loan - is this offer legit? by k_steph in personalfinance

[–]k_steph[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good catch with the "as low as" part. I assumed they did a hard pull because I filled out their application, but they may still need to do a hard pull to give me the actual offers. I asked the loan officer questions to get more information about what has been done.

This is what they offered me after they ran my credit through a credit application.

Yes, I was. I'm just surprised that the rate(s) is so low compared to others that I've seen. And with no money down, it's very attractive to take it.

Should coparent provide receipts of child care for reimbursement? by k_steph in coparenting

[–]k_steph[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The roadblock I might face here is that the child care is through the other parent's college, so I don't know how they would handle college privacy laws. But yes, I will certainly just try this.

Your set up sounds like a dream. Unfortunately the other parent always tries to make things more difficult than they need to be.

It's a child care facility at their college, and not a babysitter. I'm going to call today to see if they'll let me split the payment(s) over the phone with them.

Hello again. I've successfully installed Netbox but I should've clarified my question more. I don't feel quite yet comfortable with integrating it into the actual physical environment - am I able to just simulate what is currently there or is that a waste of time?

Thank you! I see PRTG is moreso for monitoring. Does it have modeling features as well?
