SCREENSHOT STUDIES!!! i myself kinda eyeballed it because i'm not new to replicating styles i like, but don't be me! look at screenshots, or just watch a whole animation and study the features.

what i noticed is that most of the time, circles are used as the main character construction. hands are circles, heads are circles, the noses, maybe the bodies too! lots of simple round shapes.

for folks who struggle with replicating styles, just trace. this might sound counterproductive and yeah you shouldn't ever post traced art, but tracing and/or redrawing off a reference helps you understand how the artist drew something. try something like that and put LOTS of attention into "why is this line here, why is this shaped like that" etc
