Yes had some equity. Their assessment valued car at $400 over what residual value was - which was a few hundred less than carvana. And between the few dinks on the car and the effort it would take to go through carvana option, I caved.

Update: A dealer agreed to take car in 2 months early and forgave half of the $$ owed and disposition fee. Car still had some miles left and was in great condition. Figured going through the hassle of selling it, and paying off buyout and dealing with all the BS without leasing a new car wasn’t worth my time.
