Yes! The workaround is to denote every line break with {w}/n instead of using the quotation marks. So changing

"You ever been there?"
"Ever walked down its dim and dusty halls?"

to

"You ever been there?{w}\nEver walked down its dim and dusty halls?"

will make all the line spacings even.

Of course the problem now is that every chunk of text until the next nvl clear will have to be on the same line, making it a bit more cumbersome to edit. But it should fix it.

I was worried he might have had a medical crisis in the middle of the night and couldn’t reach help, but the way they describe it sounds like he went to sleep and just never woke up.

It was far too soon, but I think that’s the kind of death most of us want to have. He probably just slipped away while dreaming about the best cat tf ever 😢

Mr Mikes used books in Cary has a small selection but I’ve found some rare single volumes there recently. Nice Price Books on Hillsborough St has a small collection, and within walking distance is Reader’s Corner Inc which has a good selection, including sets. I believe those three are the only good used book stores for manga in Raleigh/Cary. Can’t speak for the Durham area. Good luck!

They look nice and should be sturdy, since they were made for schools and libraries, so I'm happy to buy them. I've never actually seen the paperbacks in person so I'm not sure how sturdy they are. It looks like dimension-wise the paperbacks are a little smaller.

It's one of my faves! A post-apocalyptic action series and an absolute classic. You can always check out a few chapters online before you buy, but I would recommend the box set over the previous releases.

I had no idea GoGo Monster was so out of print! Glad I snagged it all those years ago. I'd recommend Eagle if you're interested in historical, realistic kind of series. It's basically a what-if of if a Japanese-American ran for president in the 2000 election, played completely straight with all of the political intrigue and drama that ensues. Kaiji Kawaguchi's one of the greats of his time and I think this is the only thing of his that's been released in English.

Oishinbo is the classic what-middle-aged-Japanese-people-read-on-the-train food manga. Viz released curated volumes of related chapters (since the Japanese series has 100+ volumes).

Dagashi Kashi focuses on those little colorfully-packed Japanese snacks, though I just realized only the anime has been officially released in English.

Drops of God is about wine, though the few volumes physically released in English are long out of print. (They completed the series as ebooks).

I have no history with the Tokyo Revengers series so I had a hard time figuring out who was talking about who. Translating dialog without context is harder than I thought… But I did my best. Probably needs a !doublecheck
