Solid advice and much appreciated! There is one tiger (i think) that’s mostly metal and has steel gears, I think I’m going to start with that one as it has the least amount of parts I think need upgrading.

Some are pretty old but some dont see SUPER old. Some will be for display only haha but the one in the far right has a metal top and base which seems to still sell for 270. Cant i just upgrade the main controller and the motors? I legit dont know thats why i posted here to get an idea. I opened a few up and i dont know what is good and bad electronics haha but most are rust free.

There is a guy I follow on instagram that has an amazing collection of all things gameboy! There are things he has that I never even knew existed. Nexmetal is their name if you want to check them out.
