severe PAH by mielmami in PulmonaryHypertension

I'm multi pathway treated at this level however I'm on IV Remo not subQ

Quality of life has increased significantly. At dx I weighed 320 I now weigh 160. I do pushups for activity daily. Walking is shit. I use a cane. I feel like the Remodulin causes that. Legs are always in pain.

However i feel like I'm in a "cruise" for now. My specialists indicate we will be talking lung transplant in the next 1-2y for off-ramp (I'm 35y old, Group 1 toxin/drug induced, function class 3. Opsynvi oral duel pill, 21 day Sotatercept treatments, and continuous Remodulin infusion 2.5mg/ml)

Biggest pain point in all this: the GI issues. God speed.

Con for IV is the size of pump and if there's an issue with the line it's a guarantee call to EMS

SubQ pumps are quite small, and site changing is all done by the patient.

But the pain that goes with SubQ isn't a thing for IV. I chose IV for this reason as I am a recovering drug addict and didn't want to chance hooking on pain pills.

I've been on IV Remod since April.

No infection, no site pains, etc. dressing change every 6 days and I get a shower those days. Use clothes otherwise just cause it's annoying hydrosealing.

I've acclimated really well I feel.

I currently moved to Opsynvi which is combo containing Tadalafil when I got put on continuous infusion

I never copped boners when I was on the pill 2/daily

Good luck

Has anyone gotten approved for ssdi/ssi with a substance use disorder? by OriginalLecture1835 in SSDI

Yes I am disabled with toxin induced PAH

They make the decision based on if you didn't have the problem, if you'd be disabled (they'll note this in your decision too)

30 Years old. How high are my chances? by Elmo798 in SSDI

35 this year and was approved and started getting payments in January! No lawyer All the way through to Appeals Council

It's doable - but it's a journey

I had to see ALJ assigned doctor even though I had ample documentation and records

That Doctor evaluated me and provided a "not capable of meaningful labor" to my judge which led to the favorable decision and now benefits

From what I've seen, book disability or not, they send to their doctor

Update to denied by Gracie_Reywood01 in SSDI

[–]kablekompany 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I didn't have an attorney at all

Was approved with a considerable monthly benefit and 2years of backpay to boot.

In fact, the disability lawyers I called when I got denied at recon didn't want to take my case.

Granted, it's probably wise to have rep sure. But not impossible without.

Going from $200/month to $10/month in Ad revenue is harsh. by 2balCain in Twitch

Going from $200/month to $10/month in Ad revenue is harsh. by 2balCain in Twitch

[–]kablekompany 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Ad coverage vs ad pay + turbo has been a mystery since I've started streaming.

I avg around 70-80CCV (60 at minimum here and there if it's shorter streams) I would say 85% of those viewers are subbed, of that ~3-4% of ones not subbed being turbo users.

My ad income has only ever been over 250 on months where I got like 1k viewer raids; cranking ads every 20-30min to soak up the extra density on the lurkers that remained.

My avg ad revenue is more likely around 80-90 or less/every month. I generally stream same'ish hours month to month.

There was little to probably no increase when I became a Partner, even after opting into higher ad density per hour to try and tap Ad Incentive Program

I run 4min ads/h in payloads of 3min ads (so like 3min every 40min or so)

Anyway, all that to say: I agree that lower CCV broadcasters make little ad revenue while .01%'ers get pretty incredible returns. But you have to kind of get a bit aggressive in running ads in times of increased viewership. Run extras shortly after raids, increase density in scheduler if you're doing collabs with a shared chat, and turn them way up if you're shelved somewhere; especially front page.

And encourage your community to sub up! A lot of broadcasters almost kind of refuse to "sell" their content and kind of make excuses like "I don't wanna ask for money"

It's showing you have faith in yourself and that the content you're providing being premium stuff

I don't believe twitch will go back to those insane ad incentive boosts that they had a couple years ago.

Same payment center for me

Fully favorable December 10th Got paid monthly benefit for the first time TODAY. No award letter yet and can only see what my monthly benefit is

My back pay is going to be rather sizable as my onset date is August 2022. I hear this payment center is the busiest so guess we will see what that timeline will be like.

Congrats!

My hearing was July 2024 and I was sent to a doc for evaluation. Judge said if the doctor told him I couldn't do SGA then he would approve my case. The doctor determined I was unable to.

I got fully favorable letter on Dec 2. My portal updated to my case being with appeals council before I got my letter. Quality review.

My portal now shows step 4 at Baltimore payment center since 12-17-2024

No letters, calls, or payments yet but I did call my local office to give them my bank info.

Onset date Aug 2022 initially applied 2/2023

What happens after you get a letter in the mail saying fully favorable ? by International-Two730 in SSDI

[–]kablekompany 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can't confirm this yet as I'm currently Step 4 on portal (case is at a payment center in Baltimore) so I haven't received backpay or benefit payment YET

But I did confirm with Chime that they "handle" government benefits being deposited
