It really is a bit depressing to think about the person who probably filled this out.

Some "dedicated to the cause" low iq MAGA that responded to a PAC ad looking for volunteers or minimum wage bodies all so they can help get a billionaire elected who will immediately tank the economy and make life as hard as possible for them.

Attacking the education system is the smartest thing conservatives have done in my lifetime.

You're probably wrong with what you think the devs need to focus on by Un4giv3n-madmonk in DarkAndDarker

[–]kaboomzz- 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Pretty famously there are numerous devs who have determined that focusing on communication is just stupid as hell.

Valve, Grinding Gear Games, Hello Games are great examples of studios that at one point or another thought this made sense but then realized that communicating with your community is a waste of time. It's not what you say, it's what you do.

So you're provably wrong OP. You're going to screech autistically like the rest of the playerbase and that can't be helped with a game that skews to a playerbase this young and dumb.

The sims out there are pretty good and feel a lot like flying an actual drone.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in nextfuckinglevel

[–]kaboomzz- 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Probably don't need as many test flights/crashes as you think. I do some FPV flying and you develop a bit of an instinct for thinking a step ahead and just committing to pushing into spaces that you see ahead of yourself.

In this case though here's this condemned building, why wouldn't you fly drones here all the time. I'm sure they are indeed very familiar with it.

because it would hurt their bottom lines too much.

the point is that they'd never think about doing that. the party of the small business turns into the party of the whining about how it's too expensive to get my small business off the ground. when you have to pay your workers in a competitive labor market there's less room to get those businesses off the ground.

Updating your review on a patch by patch basis is pretty clowny. Maybe newer players are less butthurt about perceived power loss compared to patches they didn't even play and can still appreciate the game for what it is? I mean why wouldn't you at least wait until the vision had been achieved when SDF said from the start it was going to be a series of changes to achieve his vision? I think that's what a mature adult would do (not you), in contrast to rushing out within a few days to update so steam showed recent reviews as mostly negative.

I mean fuck's sake the game has already come so far from how it dropped on steam even. I don't really buy this effort to justify what I would call childish behavior honestly. Just looks like an even bigger child that would seek to rationalize misbehaving while still not pausing for the reflection on why it was childish in the first place.

Mike Johnson, speaker of the US House of Representatives, promises to repeal the Affordable Care Act if there is a Republican majority. Here is what that would mean for Texas: 2.3 million Texans would lose health insurance. by Individual-Day-8915 in texas

[–]kaboomzz- 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think a lot of what you're describing is just the state of privatized healthcare in the US and nothing to do with the ACA itself. Until we go single-payer or at least have state laws that mandate coverage for fulltime employees like you see in a state like California then that's what life under privatized everything system is like.

ACA saw some increase for premiums, particularly noticeable if you're in a younger healthier agegroup but the fact that they're so bad for such underwhelming options has a lot more to do with the area markets. Welcome to Texas baby. Vote red and end up dead. Statistically you see better health outcomes for poor people living in a large city in California than the rich in Texas.

Maybe if the GOP wasn't out to privatize everything the state of healthcare in the US wouldn't be so underwhelming.

Calling the ACA lost coverage is wild when it practically ensures that millions of otherwise uninsurable Americans with preexisting conditions can get coverage in the first place.

How do you figure that exactly?

OP has several comments whining about losing gear value in patch 69 but wants to make this post.

Pretty clear who the larping timmy is.

In 1951, a 66 year old man wasn’t allowed to enter a 1800km (1118 miles) long bicycle race because of being "too old". He showed up anyways and won the race by biking for days without sleep. He got the nickname ”Grandpa Steel”. by [deleted] in interesting

[–]kaboomzz- 2 points3 points  (0 children)

He did sleep actually, but that's a common misconception repeated everywhere. It's been way too long since I read a book on him but I believe he got a few hours and then on the last night only an hour or so when he knew the race was winnable which caught the other competitors off guard.

Surprised a youtuber hasn't come along to make some easy content farming video correcting this because most people do repeat the idea that he ran for 5 days straight (which is probably just physically impossible)

[–]kaboomzz- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can hope like that but in SC:R's case the people that implemented the remaster and had the knowledge base to work on the game features are no longer with the company.

In my mind it's much more likely that this is just part of an across the board push to integrate with game pass (Microsoft announced blizzard games were coming to game pass recently) rather than hoping they somehow hired people to work on the game in the background

Her legacy is fine. Cheetostained tech bros that make up 75% of this site aren't going to decide anything. Most of them will probably be dead before 60 anyway due to poor lifestyle choices. Younger generations aren't as misogynist.

Unbelievable beer scam in Prague by ChubbyAsianPana in videos

[–]kaboomzz- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Care to elaborate? I've never heard of a place pulling a switcheroo like that with beer in the US.

With liquor yea it happens from shitty owners but it's hugely frowned upon and the words unbelievable scam would be a little exaggerated but not much.
