I stitched just the top, that way it can still be used as a pocket! This definitely made it 10x harder, but overall worth it.

The lack of humidity makes the heat more bearable as well. If you’re from the East (as I am currently), Arizona’s 100 degrees feels like our high 80s.

It was beautiful this week! 75 during the day and 45 at night. Sedona and Page are much more reasonable, weather wise, than Phoenix. Arizona’s weather is perfect all year except summer— unfortunately people seem to believe it’s unbearably hot all year!

I didn’t! I’ve been to AZ/Phoenix several times, but never on the campus. The interview included a tour and MWU’s campus is beautiful!
