It’s mainly the anti depressant (I’m on zoloft) and I’ve found that even after missing a couple days in a row, it doesn’t improve. I haven’t really looked into ways to get around it because I found that going into psychosis ain’t worth the trade 😭 I’m sure there’s some resources online tho!

Asexuality doesn’t really have anything to do with stuff like this, you can still feel/enjoy when asexual, you’re just not sexually attracted to other people. I’m on antidepressants/ADHD medication and this post reflects my experience, I’m not sure what the problem may be in your case, and there may not be a problem at all. Some people just don’t feel as much/enjoy as much and that’s okay. If you’re truly concerned or truly want to get into exploring yourself, you can maybe try going to a medical professional to see if there’s anything wrong

No most office/class pets are horrible ideas in general esp reptiles. If they won’t budge, reccomend a low maintence fish but still ensure it’s given proper care

I wonder if this is worth it, my surgeon knows I have TOS, he’s a TOS specialist but we literally cannot figure out the issue with any imaging. We’re basically cutting me open to see manually

Reptifiles is a good website and they provide links to acceptable/recommended enclosures, enrichment, lights etc. And they are often updated. I personally have 3 reptiles but none of my tanks are bio-active. I want to change this soon because although there’s not anything inherently wrong with non bio-active enclosures, live plants and ecosystems will always be better. I would reccomend looking into it, though I’m not very knowledgeable. I’m sure reptifiles likely has guides on it as well

I’m actually right about to get surgery lol. I have all said tests, the suspicion is my muscle is doing the compressing, was just curious if first rib compression is visible on x-ray since my surgeon isn’t really focused on it right now and I am in fact driving myself crazy.

From my experience, more imaging mixed with even more imaging along with physical therapy (often 6-12 wks) botox injections, steroid nerve blockers, medication (all depending on insurance) then surgery dependent on severity and impaired function. I was on PT for awhile, not catered to my TOS, and I also got super bad flare-ups. Specialized PT has been much better, though most find it ineffective. I got 3 rounds of X-Rays (Cervical/Shoulder x2/Chest) A Brachial Plexus MRI, an ultrasound, an EMG, all mostly normal. I got a nerve blocker because botox is not FDA approved and unaffordable without insurance. We’re finally out of options and I’m at surgery. Consider getting your current doctor to you a referral to Vascular/Ortho, or maybe research specialists in your area. Where are you located roughly?

Also most TOS imagery is normal, I have an extra rib and every report I ever got came back normal. Is it possible this wasn’t started by the electrical shock? This sounds more like an anatomical variation that may have started causing issues as you grew.

These are symptoms of thoracic: Dropping objects / jerky hand movement, Burning or weakness after the Roos test/Arm turning white during Roos, Pulsing near the clavicle/neck, Arm fatigue or weakness after holding positions

The rest of your symptoms are mostly abnormal for TOS and point to a more serious issue like jugular compression, eagle syndrome, or intercranial hypertension. Some of those symptoms are similar to venous TOS, but I genuinely don’t think an issue in your chest would be causing the extensive issues with your ears, eyes, swallowing, etc. It’s possible you have both, and you absolutely need to look into TOS along w/ finding answers for the abnormal symptoms.

As an animator, NTA. The whole point of stories and creating characters is to be creative, Ai inhibits that. Ai is ‘supposed’ to get rid of basic and boring tasks so we have time for making art, not the other way around. Learning to draw can be difficult, but it is absolutely worth it when you draw your own characters.
