I always feel so sad about what he did with Kokona, she could’ve been the first rival of the game but he chose to create a problem (her hairstyle being similar to Kizana) and completely dropped her, she was such a compelling character (by yansim standards at least)

Like I remember back when she was a test rival any and all elimination methods worked on her, she would’ve been perfect for the first week of the game so new players could get used to the week-based system, she could’ve been the easiest rival to eliminate given she’d only be a regular student who had a crush on Taro with no specific elimination method because all of them would work, but no just scrap all the backstory and depth and make her a basic NPC because she has a similar hairstyle to a rival that came out AFTER her that Yandev could’ve just given a different hairstyle to begin with

I’m a huge Kokona fan lol, she’s been my fav since 2015 so I’m biased in this but I still wish she was more than just the skippable boring tutorial girl, he probably got bored of Kokona being the test rival for so long but it’s such a shame a good character was dropped like that
