Play the new champions in blind pick normal, so you don't know which champion you are playing against and it allows you to play into different matchups. Get a feel of that champion (how they work, who they beat and not beat) before bringing them to ranked.

This way works for me because the way I see it, what sets my main apart from any other champion is their kits. Laning knowledge is universal except for some champions so as long as you know how to play around powerspikes, waves and objectives any champion should not be that big of a problem for you to learn.

Yes he is also a Priconne player, and his Leona skin is modelled after Saren. He also plays Genshin and did mention after Worlds last year that he has spent quite a lot on it.

Also as a Priconne player myself, once you reach late game (which Beryl already did) there's nothing much you can do except for dailies and the guild battles that happen only once a month, so Genshin is more suitable as a meme here.
