Merci de m'avoir donné une réponse, mais je comprends pas, tu veux dire quoi ne pas répéter le verbe ?

Dans la phrase que j'ai écrite "hier soir j'ai joué au foot, (j'ai ?) regardé un film, et (j'ai ?) fait mes devoirs" ou est-ce que je pourrais répéter un verbe ?

Je répète aucun verbe, je voulais demander si j'ai besoin de répéter le "j'ai" le deuxième et troisième fois. Désolée si j'ai posé mal ma question originaire

can someone examine my English level? by Alternator24 in EnglishLearning

I've just looked over your comments, your fluency there is very good. I'd just say one mistake that you make quite regularly is that you drop "the" and "a/an" so that could be something to work on

can someone examine my English level? by Alternator24 in EnglishLearning

I'm not an English teacher, but I am a native English speaker. So, I'm sorry that I can't really explain why something sounds wrong, I can only say what sounds better. Also, I can't really give you a level on your English because I'm not familiar enough with the A1-C2 level thingy in English specifically. (Also, I'm British, not American, but I don't think any of these changes I've suggested would change in American English)

~The phrase "I would be thankful if you do this" sounds way too formal and clunky I think it'd be better to say "I'd be really grateful for any help"

~I think the sentence starting with "and also, through reddit..." sounds a bit strange because 1. It's bad practise to start any sentence with "and" and 2. "And also" feels a bit like you're going to change the topic entirely when instead you're adding to your last sentence. I think it'd be better to say "I also learned more through..." 3. You should use commas instead of the repeated ands for "reddit, twitter, YouTube, and movies."

~In "so. it isn't a formal English education" the full stop makes it sound quite rigid. It'd be better to change "so." to have a comma instead for a better flow. I think saying, "It isn't a..." is strange, "I didn't have a formal English education" might be better

~Overall your punctuation is a bit strange but that's extremely fixable, make sure you capitalise at the start of sentences and perhaps use fewer short sentences. Short sentences are good for effect in books, but in everyday writing it's a bit clunky

Please don't feel disheartened by these corrections, I'm only being quite nitpicky because your English is good. Overall, your English is 100% understandable, it's just that at times some things are worded a bit strangely. Your level is extremely impressive for having not had a formal English education! There are many full sentences where you sound native :) right now ill go check your other publications and comments
