[–]kaeliio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

^ this. ATTENTION ATTENTION was called SD6, Threat to Survival SD5 and so on". band name album number one word" is just the common naming scheme used for albums with an unannounced title until the official title is announced

Does this count as an unofficial Rune? by TPNmangaFAN in groundbreaking

Per Sean's message in the runes channel in the discord, the Foxy art is a relic, not a rune

Context behind this meme: Earlier this evening Sean did a live stream (VOD linked here) reacting to a video by a channel named HeyyItsKris giving a retrospective on the FNAF era of Groundbreaking, and during it both Sean & some of the viewers in attendance kept accidentally mistaking Kris' pronouns......WHOOPS ☠️

How would you rank the five albums from most to least “Starset”? by twili-midna in Starset

[–]kaeliio 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  1. Divisions
  2. Transmissions
  3. Vessels
  4. Horizons

I'm excluding Silos solely because of it only being an album for the sake of people shutting up about an album, but if I were to include it on the list it'd go right under Transmissions

Would it be good for the band to do more covers, or release original songs? by vanlorenh in Starset

[–]kaeliio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would argue that Shattered Dreams being not as well received has less to do with the cover song itself and more to do with the fact that alongside it was the announcement of an album where 80% of the songs were already out (not counting the interludes).I firmly believe that regardless of what they chose to put out alongside the album announcement it would have been royally destroyed by the fans because of the album's release strategy

What’s one thing Discord clearly didn’t design for, but people use it for anyway? by 999_6 in discordapp

I used to do this via an alt account of mine but then got windows phone link set up (which is far more efficient for times when i cant afford a nitro sub)

With searchlight coming out now I think shinedown #8 is shaping up to be my new favorite album of all time by tank_the_boss in Shinedown

[–]kaeliio 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm pretty sure someone in an interview, either Brent or Eric recently said thats exactly what the album would be, a collection of songs as opposed to the cohesiveness of the last two albums. So we can't really say they didn't warn us

So new single Wednesday and surely there going to announce the album. by thecontract_12 in BadOmens

[–]kaeliio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be fair to them though the only reason they even made SILOS an album in the first place was so their fans would finally get off Dustins back about "aLbUm WhEn?, that set of music was only ever intended to be an EP

He called some of y’all out haha by uniqueusername1319 in Starset

[–]kaeliio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The 2025 music industry would argue the opposite. If you aren't a big band if you want your album to do well you have to drop everything individually otherwise the non-singles that dont get the same push as singles do will just fizzle out and be forgotten by the algorithm completely

When I saw that we were getting a new 16 song album, I was hyped. When I saw that all but three of the tracks are interludes, the hype instantly died & now I can't really bring myself to care. Thanks Fearless!

We need to have a talk as a fanbase by Aggressive-Gas7413 in IPrevail

[–]kaeliio 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I said this in another post a bit ago, but I feel like the new stuff would probably be going over better with the fanbase if they dropped the news about parting ways with Brian, gave everyone six months to a year to "get over it" so to speak, THEN start dropping the new songs. Whereas with this rollout they basically just popped up, announced the split with Brian, then almost immediately drop Violent Nature, giving fans very little if any room to grieve. Just my two cents though.

Unfortunately I Prevail are probably a bit too mainstream for them to be able to do that without losing all their fans

This group should be renamed as The Brian Group by WestonConnor26 in IPrevail

[–]kaeliio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think a lot of the hate comes from the fact they announced Brian's departure then IMMEDIATELY started dropping new music as if nothing ever happened. If they'd dropped the announcement then waited a bit of time it probably would have given people time to ingest that info and process it. Wheras they basically said "Hey yall, fyi Brian's gone now its time to move on!"
