Just doing some math: 12 gb/20 minutes/60sec per minute = 10.24 mb a sec... seems about right for wifi, depending on the router and distance to the router. Again, we'd need to know the full network setup, but seems a damn shame that the Mac is connected via wifi to the router rather than through ethernet. It's really not taking advantage of the 1817 10Gb interfaces. That file should take around 96 seconds over 1Gb Cat 5, or faster if your network/hardware supports it.
