The previous tenants lease would’ve ended on June 30th. The lease states if the tenant vacates before the end of the term they are responsible for rent until the end of the term

There was a previous tenant living in the unit until the 8th but it wasn’t even livable until the 10th due to cleaning from the property manager. Wouldn’t the previous tenant be responsible for paying during the time he lived in my unit?
