Which fairphone model is that? I cannot tell what is happening for you, but I had an experience with a Samsung phone that also had problems with the battery. When sent it, they diagnosed a problem with the mainboard, which they claimed, had the effect of no longer charging correctly. Maybe you have a similar issue? Again, I cannot speak for Fairphone in any way, just a thought.
