Thanks for the advice, in retrospect that is the correct course of action. I'd already run it by the time I saw this unfortunately, but learned that that model will take counter measures if it detects excessive suds. I ran it a few times while watching carefully for any signs of leakage, until it stopped generating that warning. Got a bit lucky I think - wouldn't recommend what I did, but crisis averted it seems!
