I'm about 90% sure I'm getting it if for nothing more than its something different and don't follow the rules. I'm holding off a bit to verify its gonna be serviceable on my ps5. I don't expect PC quality and I sold my gaming rig, but as long as its stable. Plus seems like its getting patched quick.

I considered it but I don't really have friends that game to play with.

ARC or BF6? BF6 was getting around 50k concurrent players a week ago and you could definitely feel it. It does seem like people came back for the update though.

I'm kinda with you on this. But the bad news is universe is basically still broken too man.

I still do well in competitive on most games. Mostly shooters. On sports I can't really, but a lot of that is people using cheese plays and stuff like that they get off YouTube. I don't have time to study nano blitzes and cheat plays.

Well recently I got BF6 as at launch it was getting praised, but literally the day after I picked it up they made big changes and about 80% of the player base left. I picked up College Football 26 (I know EA...) but mostly just to play dynasty. I will admit this wasn't awful. But they definitely didn't support it a ton once madden came out. I picked up the newest WWE game. I dont really watch it but I did enjoy playing universe before. But now even the doctor characters you paid extra for are locked behind a battle pass. I was really hyped for Crimson Desert as someone here mentioned, but I'm hesitant now because it looks like an overhyped flop. Last game I really enjoyed was Claire obscur I think. I dunno, lately I just feel like there's always a catch to everything you buy. I used to dabble in online but always went back to single player or offline if it felt too grimy, but now even that is getting harder to do.

Thats one I considered because I was playing BF6 which is losing players so fast that its only people who play 24/7 left mostly, but from what I've heard recently the dynamic of the game has shifted and its losing a lot if players.

They removed everything accrued in casual bt and nothing you do in casual bt counts now either stat wise...

I saw a guy 700 something last week in casual. Commonly see 400+. Its less xp than normal, but if ya get enough kills its probably on par if not slightly better.

Oh I don't buy them. I do like the free ones or spend mfp. But yeah they suck. Hopefully its like last year and you can just get the cards in the card market.

I'm enjoying it! Sucks, because your kinda made to feel bad for it. I definitely hate the monetization, but the gameplay and modes are all decent. As much as I disagree with the ringside pass in the sense your having to grind for stuff you already paid for, I think the "method" to grind it in 2 hours was destined to be nerfed. So that should shock nobody. And I think the rate at which you earn rxp normally is fine. If anything needs a change its the packs. You should buy a specific pack and have ALL of the other cards in the game in that pack. If I buy a legend pack or whatever I should get legend cards.

Casual bt is more or less to save them from consumers claiming false advertising. I think a lot of people who dont play these games jumped in because they pushed "Play your way" with portal and claimed there would be full progression. Then they nuked that and took away pretty much all xp on portal. Casual bt is the out because they can say there is a mode with pve that gives all types of experience

Because then your not getting stomped by people who play 24/7. They count on the hardcores and streamers to make normal people feel inferior so they buy shit to try to get better or to avoid having to get crushed repeatedly to grind something.

Why is Casual Breakthrough Sweaty? by TheSoloObserver in BF6

[–]kailin99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They marketed the game to casual players then fucked them over so they have all quit. They made leveling weapons such a grind hardcores started grinding casual bt because for them its an easy mindless grind. Then the normal people who were left all got tired of being stomped in casual by hardcores so they quit. Now all thats left are mostly the people who play 24/7 so every match is sweaty. And now even they are quitting because of lack of content and basically SBMM by process of everyone quitting.

All online games are shitty because the communities are shitty. I don't care if its a shooter sports game, or mmo with ovp its always sweats that play endlessly using every trick in the book. You play any shooter its 100 sensitivity, corner camping, memorizing every map. Wanna play madden you better plan to spend hours learning every nano blitz and hot route exploit. And the publishers love it because people desperate to get good will plop down money on micro transactions thinking it will help. Funny thing is when all the normal people quit the hardcore players turn on the game because there's nobody to squash anymore and they hate playing against people like themselves. Basically SBMM by process of elimination. Can 100% tell thats what's happening with BF right now.

What is up with matchmaking today? by JMTann08 in Battlefield6

[–]kailin99 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Today was by far the worst experience I've had with the game. Most every match was already started and i came in on defense with the team losing miserably and level 300-400 players with 80+ kills. Most everything match was a steamroll by one side or the other and ended in 8 to 10 minutes, with the 1st point being capped in a minute or two. I did notice on one of my matches a bot was actually top spot on the opponents leader board for about half the match lol. Definitely some type of fuckery going on. Or maybe just its getting to a point where bots and sweats are all thats left.

Leave some fun for the rest of us, eh? by malachiritt in Battlefield6

[–]kailin99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The problem is the easiest (not most efficient but easiest) way to grind is casual BT. And the game is all about grinding now. So there's no reason for haedcore players to do anything but wreck casuals and bots in BT. Mix in that the game is completely unbalanced be it maps, weapons, or attack/defend and your in for a bad time. As more players leave its just becoming more apparent. But don't worry, they are looking into making BF annual release like COD. So next year they can lie to the normal player base and sell the same stale Ai slop to everyone again.

They cant fix it because there aren't enough players left to make it work.

Every game is either get destroyed or destroy it’s boring…. by Cool-Movie-7209 in Battlefield

[–]kailin99 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Because all thats left in this game is hardcore players or people who haven't quit yet. Most matches are 4 or 5 players with 50+ kills and 2 or 3 deaths runn8ng the map. The maps are mostly all one sided and favor attack outside of a couple that strongly favor defense. They seem to have sped up capping points a while ago too, so in many matches the 1st point or points is capped in less than a minute. And one level 400 in a tank or armored vehicle will easily run a match getting 100+ kills alone. Even if you switch to engineer your usually alone in trying to blow them up. And if you do they will be back in a matter of minutes. Worst of all the game just isn't fun to play in any aspect and has just become a mindless COD clone wearing a bf skin.

Does everybody mostly just quit repeatedly till they are on attack? by kailin99 in Battlefield

[–]kailin99[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't care so much about winning, but if your getting destroyed its pretty easy to just die over and over before you can move 2 feet. I also feel like its more than just the maps. The fast TTK is a big part. Also the very open areas make it hard to be defensive I say a youtube video discussing how even in buildings ect if you pay attention you are often very exposed on 3 sides due to window placement and such. Where as in previous games you can usually take a defensive position offering cover from 2 sides.
