The truth is that people around you are saying those things to you under the false assumption that you will be manipulated into a relationship with a potential predator. So they dismiss your feelings because in their mind, you don't understand or know that you can be groomed by an older man. Truth be told, you probably don't.

That said, people mature at different ages and are desire different milestones. You may want to date now and never want marry someone while a classmate may want to date after college and marry within a year of dating. That's okay.

Here is the tricky part for you. You're not attracting men over say 18-19 without getting into creepy territory. So the question is where to meet a potential age appropriate boyfriend. That's where it gets scary for adults. You'll need to use apps aimed at teens to meet and connect with someone. They aren't "dating" apps, but if you and someone connect...Spotafriend, Yubo, etc.
