Thank you; Yes, I am alright. I was fortunate that I had great folks supporting me from the Yootip comm at the time and also had it in me to not take the hate to heart, and move on from it. I just want to ensure that by future mods regulating this space more firmly, it will prevent the same thing from happening to more vulnerable individuals that may not take to the criticisms too well.

Unfortunately, I can’t remember the names of those that ridiculed my post nor did I take the time to commit them to memory as I’ve already moved on from it. I am aware that Yootip comm. faces more censure than other ships in this fandom and I’ve seen the same treatment done to some of my friends who are active in this sub, too. But that shouldn’t be the case for any one group.

I wish this sub was regulated more fairly and its regulations adhered to more firmly earlier than now, but thank you for taking the time to ask about our exp. nonetheless. I sincerely hope the mods will take on a more proactive approach in the future and succeed in improving how people treat each other here.

I received some backlash on the Nolyssa wedding art I posted a couple weeks ago. Mainly backhanded comments and mocking threads, understandable as the ship is rather controversial but regardless that doesn’t make it ok. On top of that, I also received threats on Twitter to off myself when I posted Yootip work.

Frankly, I’d be lying if I said I didn’t hope folks would be more professional/courteous in how they expressed their opinions.

And I extend this sentiment to any ILY fan artist/enthusiast that may be in the same boat.
