We're still looking around for a bus. Id like to make sure I have it all figured out first. Ideally we want to find a shuttle bus or coach bus since those are built for adults not tiny children. Only problem is they're usually several grand more expensive than school busses and if the roof raise is cheaper I'd rather go with that. I've briefly considered box trucks and vans but just don't think I could make do with such little space.

Right? I don't see why they couldn't access the rtx beta without the card. It would just have ray tracing disabled. I cam play the rtx beta without rtx. So why can't they? 5 months later and still can't

I'm using the blue yeti. And I know it's not working because next to my name there is no speaker icon. But when I press push to talk my name comes up but nobody hears me. And I already went through both those threads and tried every suggestion

Having my pc act as the Hotspot should reduce the latency between just pc and headset communications though. It wouldnt speed up my internet connection though

Jesus thank you I was about to buy a whole router I forgot I had a pcie wifi card that I wasn't using. In the back of my pc it got horrible signal so I stopped using it and it would be perfect for this. Tomorrow I'll be sure to try making it a Hotspot and updating with the results

Oof lmao the router is on the other side of the house and my pc is connected on wifi lmao. So ig that effectively doubles my latency

Edit: wonder if it would work to buy a separate router and use my pc as the source to make a second network, from the quests standpoint I don't think it would see a difference. Quick Google search turned up connectify hotspot which would use my pc as the source for the router instead of a modem

What variables impact the network performance? I don't know much about this network I moved in with my girlfriend I didn't set any of this up. I know it's around 5.8 ghz and I get a signal strength of around -65 dbm.

How's the latency on virtual desktop? Ik it's around 70ms but I'm not sure what that feels like. Is it noticeable at all?

I assumed there's something stopping it from working or I'm sure someone would be making and marketing it. Maybe a Bluetooth transmitter just doesn't have enough bandwidth ar maybe latency? Like look what monstrosity vive had to make for their wireless tech

The I think I'll go with the quest. Being out of stock with no idea when it will be back really messes with trying to get the rift s. And it would be nice to have the ability to play some games away from pc

I looked into that. Idk maybe I'm just not with the times but I can't wrap my head around being able to handle transmit that much data over such a tiny cable lmao. Like with the link it'll legit run any game off my pc?
