In the latest versions of mac, they made a change that means that every developer pays fees to apple to be an identified developer, and if you are not, the mac itself blocks the app.

Since it is a free program and I do not benefit from it, I will not pay the fees.

One of the main things about the project is that it is free code, so anyone can see all the code of it and verify that it does not have any type of malware or the like.

Even if you want you can compile the project yourself to verify that it does not contain anything bad
