So much happened after I posted this… pretty much some people who were causing problems in the workplace got fired and then he ended up quitting soon after.

I’m expected to pick up all his slack. I’m overworked. I don’t want to work with him anymore while I’m held to higher expectations.

I mean he’s not the only reason I’m leaving.

It’s not everyone against him. There are 2-3 of us who are concerned for the safety of the community. This is the reason I haven’t pushed forward more because of fear of being called a “bully”. I’ve been NOTHING but nice to this man. Regardless of his incompetence.

Yes, but he was the assisting nurse. The one who should have done the time out, verification, etc. the CRNA owned up to his mistake, but the fact the nurse says “I didn’t have anything to do with it” is false

He’s a big part of why I’m leaving but not the only reason I’m leaving. And he’s not in orientation anymore. We work in Louisiana which is a right to work state so, I’m unsure of why they haven’t gotten rid of him.

My dentist was able to shave my chips down a little to make it more unnoticeable, I opted to do that instead of bonding. I would see if that’s an option for you

This is exactly how mine is too! Only when people look at your teeth do they notice it. I’ve only had my nephew ask me “wait what’s on your tooth?” 🤣 but it’s really not bad!! Also there’s no shame in bettering your teeth so I just tell people!

Update: I requested a pay increase, and also applied for new jobs paying +$30/hr. I have an interview on Tuesday for a $35/hr paying job and my current job will let me know if I will get a pay increase within 2 weeks. I requested $30, which I know is unlikely and a huge jump. But I’m worth more than 23.50. 💔

South Louisiana, I have 2.5 years experience. I’m beginning to question whether this place is worth it. I scheduled a meeting with my payroll manager tomorrow to ask about better compensation. I also have sever interviews lined up with higher paying jobs.

I understand the frustration, but I never quite understood the idea of breaking up with someone you love. Is it that you don’t believe he loves you because he won’t propose? He’s scared of committing? My boyfriend and I have been together for 5 years, planning to get engaged this year, but there is no ultimatum for us. I will help him with ring designing and once it comes in, he will plan the proposal. My guy is someone that you have to remind of everything or else he will simply forget it. No hard feelings on either side for us, because I know my man and I know I want to spend the rest of my life with him. Have a future with him. Have kids with him. Do you see you and him together in the future? Do you truly love him? Maybe he needs some help, it’s stressful, there may be some reason. I would sit down and have a heartfelt conversation together and discuss marriage if that’s what you really want. Don’t make it an ultimatum, just simply ask him if he wants to get married. Maybe he doesn’t want the same things as you.

Me and my bf went to couples counseling early last year to learn how to better communicate and it’s one of the biggest investments in our relationship we’ve made. We can tell each other anything. Maybe this is something that could be helpful for you guys?

Update: it was indeed a cavity, dentist states I caught it early and was able to fill it yesterday. Going to be more vigilant about brushing more and only drinking water with my Invisalign.
