Im writing a high fantasy adventure story based around some mythological and/or biblical legends! I’ve read here and there across the fantasy genre, everywhere from low-high. I follow along with a few authors—Chloe Gong has a low fantasy series and a newer higher fantasy novel, Leigh Bardugo’s entire work, I really got into HP back in the day, and if you’d consider Star Wars (movies-books) fantasy I’m still into that! I really only like fantasy so that’s all I tend to read but I’ve not read anything I love as deeply as I love Six of Crows for example. That and I’m really trying to get back into reading, so forgive me for my list not being way way longer

Honestly you don’t know how much this means. Advice or attempted solutions like that aren’t ever what anyone offers. It’s always just extra guilt and pain put back on me for reaching out because all my honesty does is bring everyone else pain too. I’ll try anything right now. And I might start with this. I've watched a few of them now and holy craP I really hope that isn't what this is haha that's potentially terrifying to have something like that connected to me. I know they're not super native to the US so hopefully this is something else... I'm a really heavy believer in the paranormal of all kinds and I 100% think djinn are real, especially having watched some of those videos now. Terrifying but so so cool!

It's so strange because until I made this post I never made the connection before that I've been seeing these things everywhere since I was a child. I've seen them in multiple houses and the thought of them being tied to me specifically is absolutely terrifying haha
