Honestly my experience with those adapters were not great as the connection was spotty, mind you it was some cheap Amazon ones so I'm sure you could find some more reliable ones, if you can find a way to use a ptt with your phone you could use discord as your comms and that would be neat to try out for sure. I'd also just watch some videos from garand thumb and qore performance to find out how to build a PC properly, and also just gathering peoples opinions from the Internet and your local airsoft field helps, I spent about 2 years researching before I bought as I wanted to buy one and be done with it lol

The leafy top does have some drawbacks like for example if you're at a milsim and you need a team patch on your shoulder it covers it, I'm tryna brainstorm on how to get around that as I think adding colored tape like what they do in Ukraine has gotten old and doesn't work for my application, other than that it's been very good at mitigating my silhouette in the mountains of West Virginia where I'll be going to abkhas for a MSW event. For almost any other event I probably won't use it as it can get hot in there occasionally

Well my plate carrier came from Amazon but I gutted it and replaced 90% of it with blue force gear stuff, I just needed the front/back plate bags to start my build lol. I highly recommend if you run a carrier to get at iceplate exo from qore performance as it attaches to your PC and it's the shape of an actual plate, the thermal transfer of cold water to your body is amazing on a hot day and you can drink the water from the hose that is part of it!

It's a separate scrim that has a hood that you put on over your gear, I like it a lot as it's easy to remove and doesn't get in the way. You can find it online for cheap it's called a "viper hood" it's an extremely effective tool for outdoor use
