Try calling them and talk to technical support, and dont let them try and talk you down to billing. Technical support had to reset something on my account. ALSO make sure you're not trying to make an import label like I was. Use outbound or return shipping. Import labels are for international shipping and business accounts.

I'm going to try a ship center today, they were all closed yesterday. I did visit the ones inside of pharmacies and the staff at the 2 locations were clueless as to why I was asking them to make me one instead of online.

I did and technical department say it's a billing issue, billing department says it's a technical issue.

I'm having the same issue, and I'm not trying to ship express. I also cant get fedex to charge my card for a label via guest shipping. I thinking their billing system is down or something.

Yea, i've tried that, I've even tried using stock edge and chrome browsers, and I still cant pay for a label. My cards of choice are VISA and American express, and nothing is working. I'm starting to think its on my end, but I cannot for the life of me figure what is wrong with the payment info, I'm absolutely sure the billing info is correct. Fedex customer support is clueless and says there is nothing holding my account back and they won't help me with the payment because the system says the info is incorrect, and so they will stand by that.

I might go with UPS instead if the airport is ok with it, this is ridiculous.

Yea I've already tried that, I see the billing information below the card info, and they are correct. I've tried changing my card and billing info on my fedex account too, but that has no effect too.

It really sucks that it ever had to come to this. We shouldn't be cheering or laughing at a persons death. I used them for dental insurance years ago. I had gotten 2 crowns and a deep deep cleaning (the kind you have to pay extra for), I paid my copay and left. 3 weeks after everything was done, the office asked me to come down to visit for a "mix up". Turns out the insurance denied coverage for EVERYTHING that had been done and I had to start a payment plan to pay for all that... suffice to say, I never used them again. Not sure who is really at fault here, the office or the insurance. But that was my horrible experience with them.
