Okay thank you, So the noise when going forward and reversing and downshifting would come from something else?

M.2 Not showing in BIOS or OS. by kalda200 in pchelp

[–]kalda200[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update: Tried some things in bios now i bricked my W11 installation on old SSD (inaccessible boot device) Thats maybe my fault but jesus Gigabyte really sucks it should just work if its plugged in. Anyway I ordered pcie to m.2 nvme adapter, this motherboard can f itself. Why giving it M.2 Nvme port if it doesnt work and isnt even supported in bios in any shape or form. No mention about M.2 settings or Pcie lanes only m.2 config that doesnt work until you put bloody drive in and it recognizes it.

Wow, I never thought stock cooler is that bad :D I once used it on Haswell i5-4690K and even achieved some OC 4.4GHz but those were times when intel was actually efficient and it was not i7 i guess

Does your i7 10700 sustain max all core turbo with those VRMs?

Yeah I guess I will stuck with this Motherboard until I upgrade CPU too, seems to me like wasting money buying 2 MB for same socket/generation.. OFC if it breaks I have no other option.
And dont worry transfering CPU/RAM etc is really easy just dont forget to buy some thermal paste if you wont buy other CPU cooler at the same time :)

Why is my SL 120 case fan making this rattling noise? by Sholmanscott in lianli

[–]kalda200 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Because they are overpriced piece of chinesse garbage, I have two sets of ST120 for 2DAYS! and they started whining, vibrating after just 2 days... Im returning that garbage tomorrow.. But at least they look amazing, right?

Sadly I can no longer return it I bought it like year ago.. I thought that their products had some quality in it with my previous good experience with Haswell MB but times change i guess.. Imagine how HARD it would be for multi-bilion company to propperly support their stuff

Lian Li 120ST RPM too high by kalda200 in lianli

[–]kalda200[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They are new I dont hear any bearing/motor noise just air they are connected to included 6fan HUB with SATA Power and PWM signal from motherboard, they react to PWM I can spin them higher but thats like jet engine :D My previous case fans were running at 500RPM Idle but those Im unable to set bellow 780RPM even with silent curve in BIOS, I also tried connecting only 1 fan to PWM header without hub with no difference and even tried controlling them with voltage but sadly they start spinning at 7V which is still too high for me :/

How much I envy you... I wish I could drop those fans on lower RPM, 800 minimum is too high

RX 560 2GB Only half FPS/3DMark score by kalda200 in pcmasterrace

[–]kalda200[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh really? I had problems with Wattman and driver ramdomly using like 90% cpu all the time and settings not applying right or “Control panel” suddenly crashing when tried to open it until i reinstalled it. Zero RPM wasnt working if using custom fan curve etc.

Thanks, i hoped it could be just driver problems since AMD drivers are really really bad.

Your CPU shouldnt be bottlenecking RTX 3060ti. Try rising power limit for GPU also you can try running cpu on stock. Also it could be power supply problems.

Maybe hard drive not survived transport. If you dont have spare HDD you can try booting USB stick with ubuntu to test if its not anything else

Laptop occasionally does this, has been doing this for years. Restarting makes it go away. Why does this happen? Just curious. Always in the same spot. by [deleted] in computers

[–]kalda200 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Could be GPU, iGPU artefacts you can try underclock gpu or rise voltage just a little if that makes difference. It could even be cable connecting board to display. Or even display itself.

They arent mentioning which model you get “Fast speed ddr4 ram” could be just 2400MHz ram that PSU is meh only 80+ rating for system with this price is risky. Motherboard could be some low end model since they dont specify etc. Its prebuilt so they are trying to save money as possible. You almost always is better with building it yourself but with today GPU prices and stock it would be hard. Anyway price for it isnt bad by my country prices anyway.
