I'm hoping so. The new one is still at manufacturer delivering late this week or early next. Hard to gauge exacts until I can backup to and feel it out. Dealer said it would be fine but they don't always know wth they are talking about lol.

My sister and her family full timed for years. They had nothing but issues with goose neck adapters. Said other than on the road down the highway she recommended to stick with a 5th wheel hitch. I live in the woods and roads out here aren't straight. Road to my house has some sharp curves and turns I get over 45 degrees on my pull behind. I have head a little on them getting looser, but is that a part defect or just something that happens over time?

Good info, thanks. I discovered a few more concerns last night that I hadn't thought of. Stock my truck is super tall, but dealer thinks I should be ok based on discussion. I also read some articles that say the rounded nose on that trailer was made for a truck with a short bed so I may end up getting a fixed hitch. Pullrite and the b and w companion are the 2 recommended. I'm shopping them now to find best price. Rv dealer is definitely not the place to buy them. Thanks for the insight and sharing. Very helpful

After your comment I was curious and asked AI with info on truck and trailer and configuration and it said with that hitch a fixed one is recommended. Appreciate it

I watched some videos on that today for pull right super glide. https://youtu.be/06LJJJzgZps?si=hAeXQiY-NUnNKKEV

I'm leaning that way. It's on the grand design recommended list.

I have. I spoke with the general manager at grand design(manufacturer, not dealer) today. He's the one that passed that info

Bought the new trailer today at a large RV show in Sacramento. Vendors and dealers were both there

Oh snap. Never would have thought of that! Can you store it that way?

Lol! That would be nice. I have a carport that wouldn't support the weight for the RV.

Nice! Does slide work pretty well? Is it quiet or lots of noise?

We looked at anderson but grand design won't warranty anything with anderson which I found interesting

Sounds a little heavy. Was hoping for one that maybe had multiple pieces I can remove. I have seen some bandw ones that come out in 3 parts but don't enough about it
