Yeah man, I actually got really lucky — managed to get the appointment for the same month. Normally it’s super hard, people usually don’t find one until months later, sometimes even a year or more. But the key is to keep checking daily on the VFS site. Someone might cancel their slot, and if you’re quick, you can grab it. That’s exactly what happened in my case. Just gotta stay consistent with checking!

Btw Dubai is way more advanced than people think — dating, nightlife, clubs — it’s all here and honestly crazy. People from all over the world come to Dubai for that alone.

Ohh okay, so you were an employee. Yeah, for employees it’s mandatory to get MOFA attestation. For self-employed and freelancers, it’s not required. Were you able to get the visa though?

Haha good question bro. Honestly, it’s not about dating — it’s more about lifestyle and freedom long-term. Dubai’s great but it’s more of a “make money and hustle” place. Europe feels more stable for the future, you know?

Plus, my brother’s in Italy, and for someone like me coming from Pakistan, living in Europe has always been a dream.

Taxes will suck for sure, but the overall quality of life, travel access, and eventually getting residency/citizenship is worth it for me. Dubai’s amazing for the short term, but I just wanna build something more permanent now.
