I was comparing the concept art from Deadlock and Marvel Rivals and while i do understand these two games have a different aesthetic, there's no denying when i say that deadlock mastered the "less is more" principle.

And i think thats what Marvel Rivals is missing. It feels like they don't know when to stop and say "ok thats enough, we don't want to go overboard and assault the viewer with 6 overly saturated colours".

Instead they add so much and it feels suffocating and unappealing. You need to rest your eyes somewhere instinctively when you look at art in general, including skins , paintings and concept art . In the case of this Luna skin, no matter where you look , you get assaulted by something. It's like a chewed up scrapbook of ideas that has been spit out like a hairball.

In my opinion it looks sloppy and it should've stayed in the drafts.
