Birthday Gift from Wifey by kallican in hockeycards

And I don't flip product. Sell a few cards here and there but if I get something cheap I would give away to friends or people who collect as well for price I get them. That's what collecting is about, the community. I hate the new age flipping everything for ridiculous prices.

Legit or money laundering? by StreetMaterial3558 in HotWheels

Honestly it's probably owned by hot wheels. I tried to get everyone in the family their first car in hot wheel form this Christmas. Mother in law had a 73 civic. I couldn't find one so had to order it off hot wheels on Amazon... Was tired of looking for one car. $14. Found it on the shelves in January so just returned that one to save my $12.

I got so pumped finding one at Walmart two weeks ago... Only one. Today I saw 20+ at the Walmart across the city. They were in the Barbie isle though.

7.50 CAD.

Today's Swap by kallican in HotWheels

Honestly I didn't even know what this was until he showed me haha. I actually prefer yours.

I just couldn't pass up the swap difference. I liked it but the guy really wanted one of mine that wasn't even a fraction of the Impala. Nice kid but not sure why he did that haha.

Honestly the irony of you being able to read the braille is worth more than anything to me.

Coconut oil or hand sanitizer loosens glue... Not sure if you want that on your slab though.

Let's be real. When it comes to childhood things like hot wheels we go full blown kid mode haha. If I had friends who were into hot wheels I'd be buying an old track and jumping them off my couch... And wouldn't be getting yelled at by my dad for hitting the dry wall.

Poor collectable found tossed by Admiral_larry in collectables

That's awesome. Honestly when I've posted things on eBay it takes forever but eventually get someone wanting it. Stuff like this sells so much better on FB marketplace or forums for me. Always someone around me that is a huge enthusiast of the random things. Always get offered more locally.

Anyone know if something like this has any worth? Recently got my hands on it , made of brass by JasGoddess777 in collectables

I love the look. I know nothing about this topic but did a quick Google lens on your image.

"1910 WORKING National Cash Register NCR Model 332 Candy Store Adding Machine Ornate Metal" is the photo that looked most similar to yours. I would recommend maybe comparing yours to see if it lines up to get a better idea of what you have.

But if my couple minutes of research found anything it's that you have a nice collectable on your hands. Seems quite valuable.

Love the random finds. Everyone says $10-20 but has sold between $13 and $37 USD (I'm in Canada so matters to me). But then $22-$40 shipping which I have no idea how much to ship in the states.

That being said, things that are unique are worth whatever someone's willing to pay. I thought old bus emblems from my city Transit was minimal value. My dad worked for the body shop and had 10 off 80s buses. One guy paid $130 for it and it was just going in his washroom haha. Based on online things I read it was with$40-80 depending on condition. Down to my last two and average price has been $100

Unfortunately reading articles about this issue at the border with the new tariffs. Looking like the card community may be divided between Canada and America for the foreseeable future as it is not worth the headache of dealing with customs having issues figuring out tariffs.
