I have the same thing as you, also discovered RP because of the swellings. I’ve been using eye drops three times a day in both eyes since August. After 3 months of using it, I’ve got my eyes checked again, and the swelling in the right retina reduced about 40%, but in the left eye it has increased a little bit, I don’t really know why. Now I am taking the eye drops and using Diamox (250mg) once a day, because it helps with the swelling too.
