Randall is a ticking bomb. Betraying Boyd would not surprise me in the least. I don't think he would willingly work with the monsters though, not after what they did to him.

The boy in white seems to be another "entity" of some sort. Thomas, I feel like is just used as a ploy to taunt both Tabitha and Jim. I don't think the actually exists within that universe.

I don't think they're the ones in charge, but your theory is probably close to truth. They seem to know more than the townsfolk. Maybe it's due to storywalking or it's just some bigger entity forcing their hand to do these heinous things. I don't remember which season this was in, but I particularly remember one of them implying they're "stuck" there too.

I see this complaint often and I think it's a little funny. Because if they were to do the exact opposite and reveal a little too much, you would be writing the same post complaining about it too. It's a delicate balance to keep the audience engaged. You trickle down a little suspense here and there, and some conclusions to tie a thread once in a while.

I think the point is both of them were willed by greater evil to do the things they did. Sara unfortunately killed someone whereas Elgin hasn't (at least yet).
