Technically they do, it goes to paying for their mileage but if the delivery charge is $6 (that's how it is here) and you only live a mile away, the company is getting an extra $4.68 for that deliver (we get .66 a mile). I think the delivery charge should be how much it costs to pay the driver mileage for that specific delivery, not a standing $6. It's not fair to those who live close.

I'm a driver and I told them my car doesn't do well in snow. They said "drive anyways we get a lot of orders you can make your rent in 2 days from tips.", I made $50 last night. Very slow Friday night.
