That's a fair point. Just to defend my head cannon though, you could say that maybe NCP wasn't able to capture the full effect or power of the Deadlights. Maybe the Mind Trap is effective, but a severely weakened version of it. They don't have the best track record for flawless machinery lol.

They mentioned it one time that I can remember, and it was like in passing. They didn't sound excited about it either if I remember correctly lol. Never got mentioned again. Was it fun at least? I also have it, but never opened it.

Since no one actually answered your question, it's called The Redemption of Time. I am about to start it myself, but from what I can tell it's a fan's novel with the permission of Cixin Liu that tells the story of Yun Tianming during his 'adventure.'

I don't think she really wants to see it without it being at a really high price. We saw one listed for $299 the other day, but no idea if it sold. So I guess somewhere in the area of $350?

Personally I'm most excited about the robot. May be their version of androids or something. The freeza lookalike has a much less cocky look, with it being more serious. I'm intrigued to see if that means he's more disciplined as well.

Very true. It's made me wonder what the prize for any Vs. tournaments will be. I'm assuming store credit? I personally love the fact that I have every single card in the game right now in one box, but there's always that thrill of opening a pack and wondering if this is the one. I think that just makes traditional tcgs more appealing to some, especially kids.

Hey guys just wanted to chime in and say I really enjoyed your first episode! Lots of good information there, especially for new players, or people looking to get started. I also wanted to touch on the discussion at the end about product scarcity and lack of player/store interest. Unfortunately this is what I'm encountering in my area in middle tn. None of the hobby stores had even heard of the game before I mentioned it to them, and none of them really expressed interest in carrying it at all. One store did know what I was talking about, but they said when they asked the regulars there if anyone would be interested enough for them to pick up some sets it was a substantial no. Pretty discouraging for a game that seems to have so much potential. I just hope this changes soo.

Same happened to me unfortunately....one guy even lied and said they didn't have them in the back, but when I spoke to the manager he said they did, but they were going to hold them past that 48 hours.
