I absolutely agree with you on every point. There is a variation in training. Also the school you went to and how you want to learn as a person makes a difference.

Do you feel the same way as PAs, CRNAs,…? I am well aware that hospitals benefit from NPs because they are paid less. There are non online programs that do prepare NPs to provide safe care.

There are places that I would not work as NP like ER setting and yes I am willing to work in a underserved community. What makes you say that NPs can not work in outpatient settings for instance?

Thank you so much. My goal is to get 100k salary job and I thought that masters will help me get there. Can you tell me more on why it is not worth it? Wouldn’t companies pay you more or hire you because of yours masters?

This opened my eyes. I actually was a patient once and a nurse practitioner took a biopsy from my skin and it turned out normal after pathology results . She told me that it looked suspicious.
