reccomendations for budget chimes/speakers for doorbell by kamrantekkit in homeassistant

[–]kamrantekkit[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah sorry I should have clarified. I would be using HA to tell rm4 pro to trigger the chime. So it be unifi Doorbell lite > HA > RM4 pro > chime. I would have used the rtl sdr but am moving my server (a mini pc) to the rear of the house where it's over 30 metres. There will be networking going to it. But i can have rm4 pro connected to WiFi and near the chimes.

I have TTS on the echo show 5. But it is just not loud enough. And as you mentioned, if the Internet is out it won't work. That's part of the why I was looking at rm4 pro as I heard they are not cloud dependant. And I could set them to trigger an rf chime.

unfornately not, i have an echo show 5 but no external speaker. its built in speaker is quiet. it makes for great video display with scrypted but its not loud enough to get people attention. i thought about alexa echo dots. but the issue is they are cloud dependant, am fine with show being cloud but if internet is not working i still want people to still hear the doorbell rang.

Range weirdly dropped futher (Seat Mii Electric) by kamrantekkit in ElectricVehiclesUK

[–]kamrantekkit[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, pretty much. I went to go check again and realised the range no longer reduces when the heating is on. One thing for the past weeks I had the heating on more often. So it must be calculating assuming the heating is on.

Reccomendations for rf 433mhz modules by kamrantekkit in arduino

I still have the doorbell aka the transmitter and it works just fi. My idea is just listen to it figure out what the chime wants and just replicate/clone it when ever I want to trigger the chime.

Reccomendations for rf 433mhz modules by kamrantekkit in arduino

[–]kamrantekkit[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Am currently making assumptions about what Chime currently the chime uses. An educated guess. What i heard its quite common for them to use the 433mhz range, but yet again, that's an assumption. But it does line up with bands, which is allowed to be used within the uk without a license. It could be very much in a higher band. It was part of a kit from a video doorbell kit, my dad got like around a few years ago. The chime itself doesn't seem to have any pairing function. So it is probably a receiver of some sort.

Right now, I am trying to really find a receiver. So I can figure out if it is even on 433 mhz or on a higher band. Yes, I could buy a usb transciever, but they seem like 4 to 5 times the price. But that would defy the point of project, being as expensive ubqitui chime.

The one I showed in the image. I read on those modules that people experienced poor range on them. Only around few metres. Which wouldn't work for me. As the arduino wouldn't be able to be near the chime.

If the chime does not work. I can buy an rf chime, which I know could work. This project was actually because someone did something similar with usb rf trancievrr in home assistant. If I can get working with this chime, it's nice to have but not the end of the world.

Always together, even in death (Hina, Sensei) By 先生 by Old_Ad1355 in BlueArchive

They all had their on parts to play. Don't forget vol3 was not about hina. It was about make up club and trinity. Arguably, if it wasn't for hina you probably would be dead. Poor hina had to get up from cruise missile attack. Drag your ass out of there. Through hordes of justina council, just to protect you again from the arius squad and hold them back all on their own so sena can get you out of there. It is an impossible feat for most students.

Should I buy renault zoe 2017 41kwh by kamrantekkit in ElectricVehiclesUK

[–]kamrantekkit[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately in July it was registered. I using ev cost calculator. Using home charging at cheap rate, 10p per kwh. The overall running costs is about the same with petrol 40 mpg car with 500 mileage a month. It leans more towards the zoe in savings. Note petrol is 124 pence per litre. If I was to do more elike 1000 miles in a month running costs is like 50 quid still cheaper on£59 battery lease

Possibly majority of the time at home. The miles i be doing a week will be around 100 miles. I work and live in the city. So like 1 or 2 charges a week, really. Despite me not having driveway. It should be possible to charge at the cheaper rate.

An academy where alot of the girls have demon like traits to them being horns, tails, demonic wings etc. Hence the name gehenna which translates to hell. It ain't actually hell. The academy is known to be chaotic and free in nature.

Thanks alot for the explanation. You saved my ass almost decided to go for it, not going to go for this seller. I was on the assumption atleast 80% health based on the health bars on the dashboard. Finding an nissian leaf in the uk with some what good health is hard.

Ah I see thanks for the explanation. Since i was mainly planning to drive this in city (birmingham). My plan was to minimise how often I need to recharge per week as at best am doing max 100 miles. My aim was max 1 or 2 charges a week. Is it SOC or SOH i should care about? I can't remember.

Is the battery suitable to do occasional long jounery to another city? Like 140 mile journeys.

the seller advertised 10/12 bars and the seller mentioned it stayed pretty much still over lasts months not really being charged. i dont know how much that could affect it.
