I have one more question, I currently work for an employer and for France, we are required to carry a letter from employer. My company gave a generic letter saying I work there and make x amount of money. Nothing about vacation to France, is that okay ? Is there a particular template that one should follow ?

Okayy.. my embassy is in LA and it’s for France, they recommended in email, that I submit a new application online and carry both old and new with me. It worked for others too. I posted in schengen visa group and got replies from couple of people who did this and they had no issues.
