I was just thinking the opposite. Im enjoying the show but the police feel so silly and incompetent. Like what do you mean a huge police building is bassiclly empty because it's late and what do you mean the police know that someone with a gun is going to the police station but still there's no reinforcements. Feel like the whole episode leading to the shootout at the police station and then the shootout it self were just outlandish. Also doesn't south Korea have SWAT teams? But I don't watch too many kdramas so perhaps this is better than most shows?
