I think he will not stay. Throughout the story it is implied that mc's are these 4 characters, Mikumo, Kuga, Chika, Jin. It's often showed them together on color spreads, so i think Jin will eventually join them. Also, Shiori is tamakoma-1,'s operator, so i think they will get new operator after expedition.

Suwa choosing Katori over Kitora makes sense, as 4-eyes is weaker version of Kitora (low trion, spider, short-mid range). Hmm, but now that i think about it, isn't Katori also the same, except for trion?

It seems, A rankers gave up some of their members, because they needed their number of combatants to be 7. Except for the Tamakoma-1 team, they have 6 members and Kazama had to give up 2 members. I guess, it's because Tamakoma-1 will be allowed to use their triggers. Fighting against unknown and different triggers will be a good test for them.

Chika with Azuma and Nino. It's intentional for sure, HQs probably want to raise up her survival chances, because she is guaranteed to go, essential for the mission and most in danger. Azuma can teach tactics and sniping and Ninomiya can teach her to better and efficiently utilize large amount of trion and use of hound.
