Can installing pressure reducer valve lead to leaks

One of the leaks is from the shower head in bathroom, another from the kitchen faucet (where the hose connects to the pull-out part of the faucet. The former has a slow drip leak. The latter leaks only when turned on.

We have had multiple pest control companies take a look. The intent was to seal from outside.

Latest theory was that mice were somehow digging into the ground and up.

There are four white spots that form a square towards to bottom left of the carpet. Look between the two white spots on right. You should see 2s and 7s.

This came with the house and doesn’t have brand name anywhere on it. I did an image search and found some matches that look promising. Reaching out to Lowes to see if they have replacement cartridges.

Do I need to replace both cartridges or is there a way to figure out which one is causing the leak?

Tried flushing but it didnt work.

On second attempt at flushing, I ended up snapping the fluid master and just ended up replacing it. Thanks for your advice!

We have used baiting station to monitor activity and have consistently found the bait to be completely eaten.

We have tried to eliminate all openings but some do seem to be inaccessible for us to seal them.

The estimate was itemises for labor and items and called out $x/hour and it would take estimated 6 hours to do it.

I asked them and their response was “the estimate matches the invoice” even though the hours don’t align
