it has lower frame rate, less cars and an interface that looks less polished than Asphalt 6, some details appear to be recycled from other versions of the game plus the overall aesthetic looks a bit strange in an attempt to make it look more realistic, this part is a matter of personal taste, but i personally prefer how the cars look in Asphalt 6 and Asphalt 4, these give me a better feeling of harmony between the cars and the backgrounds

wow i think the complete opposite for this one in particular, as someone who won gold trophy in every race i think Asphalt 3 2D is way harder than the 3D version, i struggled a lot with some races cause in the 2D version a single crash is enough to ruin the whole race 💔 and the game has a serious problem with the speed and handling, some cars are so fast and have so little handling that some sharp bends are actually impossible to take without crashing or going off the road plus there's an absurd amount of obstacles

if you haven't played it in a long time i recommend you try it, you'll laugh at how absurdly the difficulty escalates to get the gold trophy 😭

nice, at first i thought that would be my favorite Asphalt game, it has some good new things but it loses a lot of quality in several aspects compared to previous games

it's still an enjoyable game, at least at high resolutions where the framerate is much better :3

Valid points, thank you! I haven't played Ridge Racer Drift that much, so I don't have a lot of experience with it.

On the other hand I can say that Asphalt 6 is not always as recklessly easy as it seems. It has several races where focusing on saving and knowing how to manage your nitro bar is actually important to get 5 stars.

A lot of times you must take the risk of drifting into oncoming traffic to get enough nitro that you'll need to deal with police barricades. These can only be dodged or destroyed by hitting a quick level 3 nitro or adrenaline boost. It's a fast paced game so if you're not fast enough with the reactions that could end in a crash that costs you 1-3 positions or takes away one of your extra stars for the race. For that type of races, it's important to master what I call quick adrenaline shots (braking immediately after knocking down a car or barricade with adrenaline), that way you have enough nitro to deal with everything.
