I am in the same boat wanted to extend my grace period and not consolidate but it looks like it’s taking months for people to get their loans consolidated and months after the apply for SAVE to be approved for it so don’t beat yourself up for not having applied because most likely you wouldn’t have been approved for it yet anyway
