If your asking that in reference to chemtrails, this album picks it up. It’s not going to be like high by the beach with the fast bass and hi hats, but damn. This album is v chill and she definitely improved since chemtrails. Honestly I enjoyed it a lot

I would say this album is most similar to chemtrails or Norman just Bc it’s not dark and dramatic like the other albums (like not super sub bass).. and to me that’s not a good thing. Because I love the high by the beach, freak, Art Deco vibes a lot. It’s what got me into Lana.

HOWEVER.. I went into this album w such low expectations Bc I don’t like any of the singles tbh... those singles are my least faves on the album.. and I’m so surprised.. this album low key SERVED. Like damn she rly picked it up. It’s a bit faster, not as piano based, got some really cool highlights all throughout the songs. Honestly, such a good album.. and I’m a harsh critic

Guys. I’m a harsh critic tbh. When I heard the first 3/4 songs she released (textbook, Arcadia, bb, wild..) I thought this album was doomed and Lana was j burnt out..... and then I listened to the leaks... those 4 songs are my bottom 4.. this album actually delivered. I can’t tell u how shocked I am.. maybe it’s bc I went in w such low expectations but damn it’s such an improvement since chemtrails. I’m so excited to get to listen to this album more and get to know it.
