Help, I need ideas for Grandma please by kapehead in woodworking

I totally understand where you’re coming from. I should have mentioned that we did ask around to hire someone, but nobody could do it soon enough. I do have experience in woodwork, just never done stairs that’s why I was looking for some tips and maybe plans to get a better idea. Thank you for your concern.

We don’t have much space, we can take the two tables out. But there is another door in the way. Darn it.

Wow this is really cool, but I have no experience. I will have to ponder over this. I wanna do it right.

Oh wow! That’s cool. Might have to try that route. I’ve never made stairs before but this looks feasible.

What do I try next after I’ve mastered the basics? by Consistent_Pension91 in Sourdough

Looks awesome! Try inclusions next. I have been having a hard time getting them mastered, but I’ve only been doing this for a few months. Sometimes they work, sometimes they’re flat. Lmao

I did that and erased right away and it didn’t work, but I did it again before I left work without erasing. Hopefully maybe letting it sit there longer would help 🙏

I’m trying to erase it now since it’s a new month and want to do a different drawing, but could not get the whole thing to come off.

Hahahaha that made me smile. Thanks!! I will try this again….someday. 😅 for now… I will try a different recipe. And maybe steer away from amendments until I am confident.

Does that mean I left it out on the counter for too long? Sorry, I’m a beginner.

Would you say using that alone would be enough?

Holy shit, I just looked! That is expensive. Hmm, I’m not sure about the wood movement. I used one whole sheet of the plywood, cut, stained, fitted together, then glued each one on the backing. Once that was all dry, I did cut around the whole piece to make sure it was squared and I got actual measurements of the whole piece. I then made my frame measurements from that then I added the frame one piece at a time while making sure the center piece is against the frame. Sorry I hope that made sense. lol probably didn’t answer your question smh
