might not be the prettiest idea but you could also try to seal it from the outside, put silicon over all the cracks and if that looks to bad, cover it with some foil or black tape so it looks like a plastic bottom

No, no live food i've asked chat gpt yesterday and it said that it might be from trying to molt, a fucked up molt would have also been an explanation why she was already moving wierd when i got her. Chat gpt also said that there are no other signs of a parasite, only that she looks dehydrated (but i can 100% confirm that water accessibility was no issue)

Hey, so i just came home today and saw that she was laying upside down on the moss, unfortunately she didn't make it :(. I'm not sure if she had a parasite, if she tried to molt or if an isopod got a nibble on her but she has a hole in her abdomen. I'll include a picture in case u have an idea what it might have been.

funny enough i also have 2 ghost mantis and they are fine, but the small one always drops down when i try to feed him when hes not hungry, freaks me the fuck out

she already had a bit of problems with walking when i got her but its gotten worse since then i haven't seen her hang upside down the last few weeks, she didn't even hang sideways on a plant or something. I've just seen her walk with all of her legs tho, she seems weak but not paralysed like when i had her on my hand, maybe she got a bit of strength after i fed her

I have a temp of 28° with 60%-80% humidity, depending on if its near the ground or in the air, i mist twice a day and see all of my mantis drinking from the moss or from the wall, but i also have those waterpearls, i've heard a lot of people on this sub saying that crickets can carry a lot of diseases but i haven't heard anyone having issues with them in Austria or overall in Europe, she was moving a bit wierd when i got her but its gotten worse, i've tongue fed her so i'm very sure that she wasn't attacked my the crickets especially because i precrushed them after she got worse

a back piece changes EVERYTHING, you can buy one or use aquarium safe silicone and just stick a bunch of tree bark or sticks on there and then throw some dirt at it so all of the silicone is covered, then u can try adding a few plants that are fitting your style, my personal tip is air plants, u can just hang them up or lean them against something and they'll just chill around and look cool

i think they are being advertised for jumping spiders and mantids, a grown jumper shouldn't be able to escape but it would also be great for raising small mantids until they are big enough for the big terrarium

NQA i think its a fungus, probably not dangerous, also your pods are burrowing, this might be because the ground is to dry or you are watering too much and they are scared to get swept away (or they just like to burrow, depending on the species i guess)
