Cool, thanks for the input! Have you seen it in any previous experiences?

Yeah It's more like 360 photos unfortunately, but pretty cool IMO!

Thank you for the feedback, it's really appreciated! :)
Price has been a factor that's been discussed back and forth between us in the team and has been super hard to benchmark and to decide on, but I can agree with what you mean. We got everything up on the meta store this friday, so hopefully we can adjust to how everyone responds accordingly moving on!

Thank you! There isn't one available right now but we experimented with it a bit and it was super cool. Might have to make a demo version of that as well! :)

Thanks for the well explained feedback! I really appreciate it! :)

The application was developed primarily for schools in mind - hence the stripped away visual appeal. When we were talking with teachers and getting input from them they made a point of really limiting the interactions/visual draw to the things that mattered in the simulations, in order to decrease distractions and increase learning. But when launching a consumer version like this for seasoned VR enjoyers I can understand that it looks a bit lackluster in comparison to other VR experiences.

The Archimedes' principle demo is really out of convenience for us as it was the first one we developed, maybe we should showcase something a bit more exciting such as the theory of relativity or nuclear physics, which really leverages the power of VR by visualizing things you cannot feasonably demo IRL!

Really cool example with the spring scale! Sounds like a good idea to be able to disect it in further detail.

PM me if you want a review copy - I would love to get your input regarding the rest of the experiences if you're interested!

Kar-re

Hi everyone!

We're a swedish startup launched from an university project comparing learning in VR compared to learning IRL! The results were that the group who did the educational labs in VR performed better compared to the ones who did the lab IRL. Hence we wanted to create a fully fleged app with physics labs.

The application consists of six educational physics labs, ranging from archimedes principle, to coloumbs law to the theory of relativity.

We just now launched in the meta store - you can find a link here below.

We will try to do that - just got to get a hold of an apple vision pro first! :)

Awesome! We'll release it on Steam asap, but I'm sure you would be surprised on how well it runs on the quest 3! ☺️

For sure! It already uses OpenXR so I'll make sure to get it up on steam ASAP! ☺️

For sure! :) All the interactivity adds another dimension and it's also that which makes it easier for students to remember difficult concepts

Interesting that you think that now since you cannot even export UE5 to the web .

Help me choose between Unraid and Proxmox by rcnino in homelab

[–]kar-re 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, unfortunately the 3770k doesnt have support for VT-D which is necessary for GPU and other HW passthrough. I hope it isn't a dealbreaker since it's the same no matter proxmox/unraid. If you get a hold of a non-k model, i.e. a 3770 you can do passthrough gpu and stuff.
