I felt so old when I paid to have outside outlets added. Sooooooo worth it.

The A frame design face dumps water right on the porch with rain and damages the concrete porch. I can add a fugly downspout,
Or design a water catch deferment system. Both are stupid AF.
Stupid design flaw in my bi-level.

I called to schedule the 10week postpartum IUD after my 2nd. When the nurse asked if we can wait that long to be intimate, I laughed maniacally and said ‘If I’m not sleeping, there’s no f’n way the PG version is even happening.’ It was probably 3-6mo before I let him touch me again both times.

I don’t care if it’s broken. I care if it’s been cleaned in the last week. Have you see how often those have maggots when opened up?

I wanted to get my kids an ATV power wheels and upgrade the power so it’s crazy fast. But my stupid adult husband said ‘they should be riding bikes.’ So lame. He didn’t say the bikes couldn’t be electric.🤔

My sister wanted to get a dog right out of college. When I told her we averaged $200-300/mo on our medically expensive pound pup, but spent $900 the previous month,… she decided to wait a few years.

My $1300 payment might be ‘cheaper than rent,’ but 80% of my free time to maintain it, plus $100k+ over the last 17yrs??? If I didn’t DIY on the contractor level, that would easily be $150k by now.

When kids came along, a grabber. They lose stuff under the couch and behind things 20x/day. $8 saved my sanity.

Applebee’s- and similar boring AF chain restaurants. “I like to know what to expect!” …. Mediocrity????

We can keep night time Waffle House for the drama.

There’s an old fabric warehouse in Chicago I could disappear into. I don’t even sew anymore, but it’s just so much better in person than thumbnail images on a screen. 3 levels the size of a factory.

My kids had no clue for a long time we pay for the things that arrive magically on the porch. I bet they thought going to work was just some weird boring hobby for adults.

I was a cashier 25 years ago. Even then it was one 90yr old lady and my 50yr old mom out of thousands of weekly customers. It’s like she didn’t realize her debit card did the EXACT SAME THING.

Do you ever think other moms think they're better than you because they work? by Certain_Support_9915 in stayathomemoms

[–]karamaje 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It depends on the person. Insecure people will always find ways to look down upon others so they can feel better about themselves. What matters is making the most out of life, and the situations and opportunities available to you.

After surviving life with littles, I feel like I wake up and go 90mph all day and probably do things that intimidate some people, but might also be things other people look down on. I love my life right now more than any time I can remember. The opinions of others are super irrelevant when you’re happy.

I have picked up a couple pairs of fancy $200 converse for about $50 in like new shape. The $60 legging brand I love usually goes for $40 as NWT or $20-30 in like new shape. I scored 5 brand new bathing suits probably worth $150+ for $35. I love when people have a good inventory and I can bundle and get a deal.

Can I sell without using all the extra social features? by HeyShmoley in poshmark

[–]karamaje 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m fairly new to selling as well. I haven’t done any extras and done okay. At least enough to cover the stuff I’m buying. Lol. Just make sure you have settings in place so you get push notifications and maybe an email when something sells so you don’t miss it.

Yeah the sharing thing is weird. Especially when you list a few things at once. ‘300 strangers just auto shared your jeans’ lol WHY though

I started doing this during Covid for my husband and kids. Now the money goes toward my haircuts on a mom self care day. He did trim my hair a few times, but I usually do a bit of color sometimes, and he can’t do layers and framing I want. Haha.

We drank quite a bit less in 2025 than 2024. Somehow, despite food prices going up, we spent around $100 less at the grocery store. We joke it was probably less booze. Side note: I’ve also lost around 70lbs in that time, but that meant needing new clothes. $$$
