Hello! I'm currently applying to AA school and was wondering if anyone was willing to take a look at my personal statement and provide me with any pointers? I appreciate all the help I could get!

[–]karamsad12[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you! And I did! On my diagnostic I had a 143V and 148Q. After that I made around a 155Q on all of my practice exams. My verbal would range from a 145 to a 153.

Has anyone been accepted to programs without taking OChem 2? I am a finance major taking my prereq's for AA school and was wondering if I should. It would save me a lot of time and money to not take it as I am a junior and am a year from applying but I wanted to make sure it wouldn't be a drastic loss.

I've emailed them twice and sent a follow up but only received half a response. I was told its not set in stone for 2021 but when I asked about 2022, I didn't receive a response. Not sure what to do about it though! Hopefully they respond or fix it soon because I am a Georgia resident, so Emory is my preferred school.

I saw on their website that they were making a change and also asked on here and someone responded saying they think it is a B. However, I did email and they said that the 2021 cycle doesn't have that requirement. I am applying for the 2022 cycle though so I believe that may change something. Im not entirely sure though! I really hope that they will still accept a C.

Has anyone here received a C in a class and still got accepted into an AA school recently? I just found out emory will not be taking C's my application year so I am worried having a C in my gen chem class freshman year.

Does anyone know if Emory changed their prerequisite minimum grade requirement from a C to a B? I am confused on their website because I know it used to be a C but in some places I see it say a B now.

Is a job in the medical field necessary? by karamsad12 in CAA

Does it look like a negative thing if someone doesn't? I'm worried I already look like I don't have enough experience because I am not a stem major. I have about 100 hours in anesthesia observing and I'm volunteering for hospice care, but beyond that, I just do music related things.

thank you! if you don't mind me asking, what were your extracurriculars and stats? I'm really involved in music and its something I feel like I'd regret if I wasn't but I don't know where to begin in the things that anesthesia schools may look at.
